2025 Mahindra Australian Volleyball Super League Fixtures Released

The wait is almost over, with just over 90 days to go until the first serve of the 2025 Mahindra Australian Volleyball Super League.

Building on the unique format of the first two seasons where every point counts over 5 shortened sets that feature the game breaking POWERPLAY strategy and no timeouts, AVSL25 will continue to keep the players and coaches on their toes and thrill a growing number of fans.

Once again, each Club will face all five Super League Clubs over a five round home-or-away fixture, followed by a semi final weekend in Melbourne. The Championship games will take place in Brisbane, home of the reigning 2024 Champions for both the men’s and women’s competition, on Sunday 2, with games starting at 1:00pm.

After a dominant performance for the national title by both the men’s and women’s Queensland Pirates sides, it will be a grand final rematch in the men’s draw for round one as the Pirates face up against the Perth Steel.

Also in the line up for the opening weekend will be the Adelaide Storm hosting the Canberra Heat, while in Victoria the Melbourne Vipers will welcome the NSW Phoenix in what is set to be a blockbuster clash.

Volleyball Australia CEO Andrew Dee said he is looking forward to the start of the 2025 Super League season.

“We’re thrilled to be launching the 2025 season with such momentum behind the League,” Dee said.

“Last year raised the bar across the board – from the intensity on court, to the passion in the stands – and we’re expecting even more this season.

“With Mahindra back on board, the League continues to go from strength to strength. Their support not only helps grow the game but also ensures we can deliver a world-class experience for players, fans and communities around the country.

“The Finals matches in Brisbane are shaping up to be another highlight on the Volleyball Australia calendar, and we’re looking forward to seeing the top teams bring their best when it matters most.”
