Les Young

Les Young has over 30 years’ experience providing policy, governance and technical leadership and advice across a broad range of commercial, government and not-for-profit industry sectors with a focus in homeland security and Olympic sporting organisations. Les has led and advised numerous multi-billion-dollar complex capability development programs throughout Australia and North America. Les’ core strength is building and leading high performing teams that produce results and is a passionate volunteer sports administrator and governor. He has coached volleyball at state and national representative levels for over 20 years. Les joined the VA board in November 2020.
