NDP Youth National Development Camp

The Youth Development Camp is scheduled to take place in Bendigo from 20th to 24th September 2024, immediately following the Youth Championships. This camp is designed to offer both performance and development opportunities for young athletes. It is open to athletes born in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010, with the capacity to accommodate approximately 120 athletes per gender.

 

In an effort to provide focused and effective training environments, boys and girls will be housed in separate accommodations and will train at different venues. This arrangement aims to optimise the training experience and ensure that all participants receive the attention and resources they need to develop their skills.

 

Registration for the camp will officially open on Monday, 22nd July. However, there will be an Early Bird period starting on Monday, 15th July, exclusively for current Youth National Squad members born in 2007 and 2008.

If you are not attending the AYVC event with your state, please note that it is your responsibility to make your own way to Bendigo on September 20th. More information on the meeting point will be communicated closer to the camp. Volleyball Australia will not be organising travel from Melbourne to Bendigo, but travel from Bendigo to Melbourne will be arranged on September 24th.
