Overnight the Volleyroos unfortunately fell short in a difficult game against Poland, going down in 3 sets to nil (16-25, 10-25, 12-25).
Volleyroos setter, Arshdeep Dosanjh is positive that playing against teams like Poland will provide chances for the team to improve and learn as they progress throughout the tournament.
“The positive thing that we can take out of this – it shows us where we need to be and how hard we have to work to be like one of the best teams in the world,” Dosanjh said.
Congratulations to Sam Flowerday and Oluwatobi Azeez who made their Volleyroos debut against Poland overnight.
The Volleyroos will take on Russia tonight at 2am AEST.
