Australian Teams announced for U19 Asian Beach Volleyball Championships

Volleyball Australia is pleased to announce the athletes who will represent Australia at the upcoming U19 Asian Beach Volleyball Championships in Roi Et, Thailand from May 1-5, 2024.

The teams will compete in the highly anticipated event, showcasing the best young talent in the region.

The selected athletes for the two women’s teams are:

  • Jasmine Rayner (QLD) / Cameron Zajer (SA)
  • Lara Maric (QLD) / Mireille Smith (NSW)

The selected athletes for the two men’s teams are:

  • Killian Donovan (NSW) / Jett Rocker-Graham (NSW)
  • Finley Bennett (SA) / Adam Fejes (NSW)

The women’s teams will be coached by Brianna Mears (QLD) and Chris Todd (NSW) for the men’s teams. Both coaches bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles, and Volleyball Australia is confident in their ability to lead the teams to success.

“We are thrilled to announce the talented athletes who will represent Australia at the U19 Asian Beach Volleyball Championships,” said Paul Smith, National Performance Pathways Manager at Volleyball Australia. “We believe that these athletes have the skill, determination and passion to compete at the highest level and make Australia proud.

“We wish them all the best in their preparations and look forward to cheering them on in Thailand.”

The U19 Asian Beach Volleyball Championships serve as a qualifying event for the World U19 Beach Volleyball Championships in China later in 2024. The Australian teams will be aiming to perform strongly and secure Australian spots in the World Championships.

Volleyball Australia wishes the athletes and coaches the best of luck and is confident that they will represent their country with pride and sportsmanship.
