Volleyball Australia announced a new broadcast partnership with Kayo Sports that will bring the action from the 2022 Great Ocean Road Beach Volleyfest to Australian audiences for the ultimate international beach volleyball experience.
All the matches played on centre court during the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge (23-27 Nov) and Elite 16 (29 Nov-3 Dec) tournaments in Torquay will be streamed live exclusively on Kayo Freebies.
Kayo Freebies is available free to all Australians and can be accessed by simply downloading the Kayo Sports app or visiting kayosports.com.au/freebies and registering for a Freebies account. Viewers can register with an existing email address and no credit card details are required to start streaming.
“Kayo Sports are the leading sports streaming service in Australia and we welcome their support to make the biggest international beach volleyball event held on Australian soil in years available to the Australian audience,” commented Volleyball Australia CEO, Andrew Dee.
“Having centre court matches live and free on Kayo Freebies is great news for all volleyball fans, but it will also extend our reach and enable us to showcase the amazing talent on display at the Beach Pro Tour to a wider audience.”
“This partnership will also contribute to raising the profile of the sport in Australia as we are about to begin the biggest ever Summer of beach volleyball, and continue to deliver a vibrant event calendar with more and more international high-profile events coming to our shores on the green and gold runway to Brisbane 2032.”
