Tough day for Aussies at U21 World Championships

It was a tough outing for our Aussie juniors on day two of competition at the U21 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Thailand.

Jasmine Fleming and Kayla Mears started the day strong, with a thrilling three set come from behind win over Czech team Brinkova/Neuschaeferova.

But the Aussies were unable to put wins on the board, despite some close matches and hard fought battles.

With wins under their belt in the pool stages, Fleming/Mears and Stevens/Fejes have both made their way through to the Round of 24, with the final men’s pool matches to be played on Friday morning.
