Underage Group National Squad Head Coaches – Appointment Announcement 

Volleyball Australia and the National Performance Pathways Program are pleased to announce the  appointment of the Underage Group National Squad Head Coaches for the upcoming 2025 Junior  International Season. 

Each appointment was carefully considered from a strong pool of applicants, with the panel  thoroughly assessing the background, skills, and contributions of each candidate. We are confident  that the appointed coaches bring a diverse range of experience, knowledge, and leadership to their  respective roles. 

This blend of expertise will provide significant value to the athletes selected for each age group  squad, supporting both their volleyball performance and personal development. These  appointments reflect our commitment to fostering the growth of our players as we prepare for the  international season ahead.

• Kelly Lean (Volleyball South Australia) – Youth (U18) National Squad Head Coach
• Kathryn Chen (Volleyball Victoria) – Junior (U20) National Squad Head Coach 

Men’s Program: 

• Adrien Ickowicz (Volleyball Tasmania) – Pre-Youth (U16) National Squad Head Coach
• To be determined – Youth (U18) National Squad Head Coach 
• Brendan Garlick (Volleyball Queensland) – Junior (U20) National Squad Head Coach
