VOLLEYBALL AUSTRALIA SECURES BEACH PRO TOUR – ENTRIES NOW OPEN

Volleyball Australia is excited to announce that they will be hosting a Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Futures event at Coolangatta, Queensland to be held 30 March -3 April 2022.

The Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour is the annual international Beach Volleyball circuit featuring the best athletes in the world, taking over from the FIVB World Tour of years past. The Beach Pro Tour has three levels of events, Elite16, Challenge, Futures.

The tour will travel across the globe, showcasing the best of beach volleyball action and events that are engaging, vibrant and connect with fans.

The Beach Pro Tour Futures event will be the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic that international teams will have the opportunity to travel to Australia to compete at our world class beach volleyball venues.

The late addition to the international Tour calendar is exciting news for Australian beach volleyball teams, however Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for Australian teams are required to be submitted soon.

With less than 40 days to go until the start of competition, there is no time to waste in getting expressions of interest in – check out full details below.

To be considered for entry into the event, athletes must complete the below by 5pm on Friday 25th February 2022.

Expressions of Interest for officials are now open and due to close Thursday 3rd March 2022.

Referee Coach (1):

Dates: Arrive Monday 28 March (before 7pm) – Depart Sunday 3 April (after finals)

VA will provide accommodation and transport should you require it and you will receive a payment of $900 for the event. 

Required Minimum Accreditation: FIVB 

Referees (6):

Dates: Arrive Tuesday 29 March (before 12pm) – Depart Sunday 3 April (after finals)

VA will provide accommodation and transport should you require it and you will receive a payment of $750 for the event.

Required Minimum Accreditation: VA Level 3 Beach Volleyball Referee 

Auxiliary Officials – Scorer (5) / Line Judges (5):

Dates: Arrive Tuesday 29 March (before 12pm) – Depart Sunday 3 April (after finals)

VA will provide accommodation and transport should you require it and you will receive a payment of $300 for the event.

Required Minimum Accreditation: VA Level 2 Referee
