Volleyroos will continue to improve in the last round of the Volleyball Nations League

After four rounds of the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) the Australian Volleyroos enter their final round of exciting matches tonight in Italy’s coastal city Rimini.

After securing their first win in round four against Iran, the Volleyroos will look for another VNL win during their last block of matches against Serbia, Canada or the Netherlands over the next three days.

Serbia will be the Volleyroos toughest match-up during this round, they are currently ranked 6th in the competition which has been dominated by Brazil and will challenge Slovenia, Russia and France for a spot in the top four.

Canada and the Netherlands are ranked 12th and 14th respectively and are both looking to improve their position on the ladder.

Volleyroos Head Coach Marcos Miranda is positive the team will strongly contest their final matches and continue to develop their young side.

“Our Men’s Volleyroos are continuing to fight, to improve their position, technical skills and game style together.

“We will hopefully come away from this last block with another win.”
