Team Announcement – 2025 AVC Nations Cup Women’s Team

Volleyball Australia (VA) is pleased to announce the women’s Volleyroos selected to represent Australia in the upcoming Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Nations Cup taking place from the 7 – 14 June in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Following the selection camp that took place throughout May at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra, the athletes earned their position through a block of dedicated training.

VA National Performance Director Craig Marshall said: “On behalf of Volleyball Australia, I’d like to congratulate the 14 athletes selected to compete at the AVC Nations Cup.

“Wearing the green and gold is always a proud moment for our athletes, and with a handful of debutants in the side, it’s sure to be an exciting moment for the whole team.

“The Nations Cup will be a valuable opportunity for these athletes to come up against international talent and playing systems, and continue their development.

“All roads from here lead to Brisbane 2032, and nothing compares to playing on the world stage. I look forward to seeing what our team can achieve in Vietnam,” he said.

Volleyball Australia’s national programs are supported by FIVB Volleyball Empowerment, helping our teams and athletes reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
