Team Announcement – 2025 U21 Asian Beach Volleyball Championships
Volleyball Australia (VA) is pleased to announce the athletes selected to represent Australia in the upcoming U21 Asian Beach Volleyball Championships.
Taking place in Roi-et, Thailand from 18-22 June, four Australian teams will take to the courts. This Asian Championships is a U21 World Championships qualification tournament.
Australia’s two women’s teams will see our 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games team linking up again with Cameron Zajer (SA) to pair with Jasmine Rayner (QLD), and 2024 U19 Beach World Championship athlete Matisse Conlon (QLD), partner Jolie du Plessis (WA) who made her international tournament debut at Coolangatta in the 2025 Beach Pro Tour Futures event.
Our two Australian men’s teams will be led by South Australian Finley Bennett (SA) who finished in 3rd place in the FIVB Coolangatta Futures tournament in March, he will partner Ben Carroll (VIC) for the first time on international sand. While our other men’s team is 6-time FIVB tournament athlete Harley Sinclair (NSW) and Victorian rising star James Kay (VIC).
Our four Australian teams will be led by National team coaches Joey Yigit and Brianna Mears.

We are looking forward to these teams making the most of this opportunity and working hard to qualify Australia teams into the U21 World Championship Beach Volleyball, taking place in Puebla Mexico in October’
Australia our reigning Men’s and Women’s Asian champions in this U21 age group and we look forward to as very positive performance from our teams this coming week in Roi-et.
