The Volleyroos continue their Volleyball Nations League campaign

The Australian Volleyroos kick off another round of exciting matches in the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Nations League in Italy’s Adriatic coast city Rimini tonight.

The Volleyroos will face Japan, Argentina and Italy over the next three days and Head Coach Marcos Miranda is positive the team will put up a good fight as they hunt for their first victory against Japan.

“The team has had a good chance to recover and recharge before our next block of matches.

“We are looking forward to a great match against Japan, where our team will fight for their first 2021 VNL victory.”

The same night that the Queensland maroons will be lining up in the State of Origin, in Italy proud Queenslander Beau Graham is excited to represent his State and country on the international stage

He has confidence in the strength the young Volleyroos can bring in the next block of matches.

“Japan, Argentina and Italy play fast, aggressive systems with a good structure of gameplay in defence.

“Australia not only has a physical advantage but experience against teams of this calibre and we are prepared to fight head on together.”
