Overnight the Volleyroos put up a determined fight against Brazil but unfortunately went down in three sets (17-25, 22-25, 12-25).
The Volleyroos were strong in the first and second set against the experienced Brazilian side .
Volleyroos Co-Captain Luke Perry credited Brazil for their defence in the second set.
“I think the difference in the end was experience. To Brazil’s credit they played very well in defence and at the end of the second set we lost one or two balls,” Perry said.
The Volleyroos have three days to rest and prepare for the final block of 2021 VNL matches.
The Volleyroos will take on Serbia, Canada and the Netherlands next week.
Get behind your Volleyroos when they take the court against Serbia on June 21 at 6pm AEST.
