The 2021 Beach Volleyball U19 World Championships get underway today and we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know, and how to stay up to date as our Aussies fly the flag.
Our Aussie teams
Australia will be represented by two male and two female teams at the U19 World Championships.
Jasmine Fleming/Kayla Mears and Joshua Howat/Solomon Bushby will be the first Aussies on the court, competing in the qualification rounds, with Stefie Fejes/Alisha Stevens and Jack Pearse/Lucas Josefsen already through to the main draw.

Host City
The 2021 Beach Volleyball U19 World Championships are taking place in Phuket, Thailand.
Fleming, Fejes and Stevens will all be well prepared having played on the same beach two weeks ago in the Asian Senior Beach Volleyball Championships.
The draws
Qualification rounds for the U19 World Championships get underway on Monday 6 December, with the main draw starting on Tuesday 7 December.

Event format
The qualification tournament will take place on Monday 6 December, with 24 male and 24 female teams vying for four remaining positions in the main draw.
Following that, 32 teams will play in the main draw, split into four pools of eight teams in each. The best 3 ranked teams in each pool will advance to the next phase of Single Elimination.
